Social Work - MSW Traditional

Social Work Program

  • Completed in 16 months, this accelerated program offers 63 credits of social work courses and electives designed to strengthen students' skills and knowledge through theory and clinical practice.
  • Our trauma-informed program will prepare students for advanced social work practice and provide training to create leaders and dedicated practitioners.
  • Students will enroll in foundation-level courses followed by an advanced concentration in trauma-informed clinical practice.
  • Students are required to complete 1000 hours of clinical practice training over the duration of enrollment.
  • This translates into approximately 24 hours a week of social work internship.
  • Students have the ability to request a ‘two-agency placement’ (split between foundation and concentration levels) allowing for a more diverse practice experience.
  • This program is not recommended for individuals that work full-time.
  • Students will take approximately five courses each semester (Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 1:30 - 5:00 PM). Clinical internship will be assigned for completion on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
