Landlord Agreement:
In order to list with Commuter Affairs at Barry University landlords must abide
by the following:
- Treat the Commuter Affairs staff with respect and dignity; that includes in person,
via telephone or e-mail.
- Commuter Affairs will edit your listing 2 times. Any additional changes will require
a new listing, and notification to Commuter Affairs to remove the old listing.
- All listings must be made via the Internet. No phone calls, faxes or walk-ins (we
do not have a public computer for listings). Commuter Affairs staff cannot
list a property for you, if you are not comfortable using the Internet please ask
a family member or neighbor for assistance.
- The Commuter Affairs Off-Campus Housing Website is for rental property ONLY, no
sales or exchange for service listings will be accepted.
Discrimination: Commuter Affairs expects that all of the landlords
listing available rental properties on this webpage will rent these premises to
Barry’s students, faculty, and staff regardless of race, religion, color, national
origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, or veteran
status. Failure of a landlord to comply with Barry’s anti-discrimination policy
in the rental of property will result in the landlord’s listing being suspended
from this webpage and/or a referral of the landlord to the appropriate state/local
agencies.
The Commuter Affairs staff reserves the right to deny listing privileges to
anyone who fails to abide by the above standards.
