Financial Aid

Students applying to the Master of Public Administration (MPA) and the Masters of Arts in Administration (MAA)  who wish to apply for financial aid should take the steps as directed by the University’s Graduate Financial Aid Office.

To determine your eligibility for financial aid you must complete the following applications:

1. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):This form enables us to gather information for awarding you federal and institutional aid. There is no charge for processing the FAFSA and our institutional code is 001466. If your application is selected for verification by the federal government, you will be required to submit copies of your tax return or verification of other means of support. You can file the application online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

2. Barry University 's Graduate and Professional Loan Request Form: This document will help us to determine the amount you want to borrow and the semesters you want the loan to cover.  Please complete this form and forward it to the Office of Financial Aid.  You can download the form at www.barry.edu/faforms.

3. The Federal Stafford Loan Entrance Interview and Master Promissory Note: This document allows students to apply for low interest federally guaranteed student loans.  You can complete these documents for the loan at www.opennet.salliemae.com. Opennet maintains a drop down menu with a list of participating lenders.

If you would like additional information concerning the loans please visit our Graduate Student Loan Page

Students who wish to check on their financial aid status should be referred to 305-899-3100 or 800-695-2279 or by email to gradfa@mail.barry.edu.
