Nineteen students received degrees at ceremony
State Rep. Dennis Baxley, whose district includes Ocala, delivered the keynote address at Barry University’s Adrian Dominican School of Education’s and the School of Adult Continuing Education’s (ACE) Ocala Graduation Celebration April 28. The event took place at Trinity Catholic High School, which Barry has had a partnership with for the past year.
Nineteen students from Barry’s Ocala site were recognized for completing their degrees. Eleven students were honored for earning their master’s in Reading, four received their bachelor’s in Exceptional Student Education and three others received their bachelor’s in various administrative fields through ACE. More than 125 people attended the event. This is the second year Barry has conducted a graduation celebration for its Ocala campus. Congratulations to all of the graduates.
