Aris Atoa is in his third year as part of the Buccaneer coaching staff. He brings over seven years of performance enhancement experience, specializing in speed, agility and sport specific strength training.
Atoa is the director of sports performance for My Speed Trainer and is responsible for the skill development progression training system for athletes, coaches and trainers. Prior to working with MST, Atoa served as director of sports training at Chris Carter’s FAST Program for four years. At FAST he designed, implemented and oversaw all of the training programs for athletes from eight-years-old to professional athletes in the NFL, CFL, AFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, AVP, ATP and Olympic gold medalists.
Atoa has been training athletes in the south Florida area since 2001. He is well-known and respected for his work with numerous South Florida high school and collegiate athletes, as well as many individual professional athletes who reside in South Florida.
He received his B.S. in exercise physiology from Barry. While attending Barry, Aris played on the men’s basketball team and is currently serving as an adjunct instructor, assisting their strength and conditioning coach with pre-season training programs for the baseball, softball, volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball and soccer teams.
