Barry University hosted three NCAA Regional Championships this past week and on Saturday, May 10, captured all three NCAA Regional Championships.
Men’s and Women’s Tennis and Softball all won regional championships and will advance to the NCAA Division II Sports Festival to compete for the National Championship this coming week in Houston, Texas. Barry University will be represented in four out of six sports at festival, with one individual women’s golfer also qualifying for the National Championship.
Softball advanced after defeating the fourth-seeded Tampa Spartans Saturday, May 10. Women’s Tennis advances after a 5-3 win in their regional championship match against the Rollin Tars, and the top-seeded Men’s Tennis team qualified after defeating the Tars 5-3 Saturday, May 10.
