Andrew Boulton Scholarship Award

The purpose of this gift is to establish the Dr. Andrew Boulton Award at the University’s School of Podiatric Medicine. This Award is to honor the achievements of Dr. Andrew Boulton in the care of the diabetic foot. This Award will provide five - $5,000 awards, to high-achieving Podiatric Medical students proficient in matters related to the diabetic foot. This gift is provided by Arche Healthcare in honor of Dr. Andrew Boulton.

Dr. Andrew Boulton Award

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The Award shall be open to all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship, disability, age, or veteran status, subject to the following criteria:
  • Must be currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year full-time graduate student in the School of Podiatric Medicine.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
  • Write a 300 - 500 word essay demonstrating thought leadership concerning Lower Extremity Amputation Prevention (LEAP) and care of the diabetic patient foot, as well as advancing the medical and patient dialog concerning this topic.
  • Prepare an observation study that relates to their clinical practice.
