Richard O. Schuster, DPM Memorial Biomechanics Seminar

Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine is pleased to announce that it will host this year’s Richard O. Schuster, DPM Memorial Biomechanics Seminar on November 19 & 20, 2022 at its Miami Shores campus. Conceived by its scientific chairman Joseph C. D’Amico DPM, DSc, this two-day intensive, non-commercial academic conference will feature presentations by the nation’s leaders in biomechanics, pediatrics and sports medicine including Howard Dananberg, DPM, Robert Phillips, DPM, Richard Blake, DPM, MS, James Losito, DPM, MS, Jinsup Song, DPM, PhD and many more!

Doctors, residents, students and allied health professionals from across the country and around the world will convene for two days of back-to-back scientific lectures. This is the tenth consecutive year that top experts in biomechanics will converge and continue Dr. Schuster’s original “Truth Search” to analyze the validity of current concepts and practices while concomitantly emphasizing the vital role of biomechanics in the thorough assessment and successful management of lower extremity gait related disorders in the pediatric, adult, geriatric, and sports participant populations.

In 1974, Dr. Schuster said, “one could visualize that foot surgery of the future would be unthinkable without some relationship to biomechanical function”. Each year thanks to an unrestricted educational grant from a grateful patient we endeavor to make Dr. Schuster’s vision a reality.

Registration Fee (Breakfast and Lunch included) : $275( two days) & $150 (one day)
