Biography

Amy Biscombe grew up in East Grand Forks, MN.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Mathematics from Florida International University in 1998. Her early career achievements in Miami-Dade County, where she was named one of the ten Rookie Teachers of the Year Finalists in 2000, led her to further her education at Barry University. She completed her Master of Science in Computers and Technology in Education in 2003. 

Amy has been a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescence and Young Adulthood in Mathematics since 2005. With more than 25 years of experience, Amy is excited to advance personally and professionally at the Jewish Leadership Academy. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Education Leadership with a focus on Higher Education Administration at Barry University. Since joining the Barry University Alumni Board of Directors (ABOD) in 2019, Amy has served as a director and is currently the ABOD Vice President, demonstrating her commitment to supporting current students and advancing the alumni community.
