Biography
I am majoring in Biology/pre-medical with a minor in Spanish. I chose biology pre-med because I eventually want to continue on to medical school and specialize in dermatology. I chose to minor in Spanish because I want to perfect my Spanish language skills, which would benefit me as a future physician. When learning about the CRAFT Scholars I began to think about my desired profession and its connection to agriculture. With some swift research I found that dermatology and agriculture cross paths in many different aspects which led me to become more and more interested in agriculture as a whole. This opportunity so far has allowed me to have a different outlook on not only agriculture and its professions, but dermatology as well. Ultimately, I am so happy and honored to be a CRAFT Scholar and be a part of the Barry/CRAFT Scholars community.
