- Worked as a Research Specialist at UM Medical School for several years
- MS degree in Occupational Therapy and a Doctorate degree in Higher Education.
Biography
Dr. Landa-Gonzalez has clinical, consultative and administrative experience with adults in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, home-health, and private settings. She has been recognized for her leadership by the Florida Occupational Therapy Association, with the 2008 Louise Samson Leadership Award, with the American Occupational Therapy & Occupational Therapy Foundation Director's Leadership Fellowship Award and the Cambridge VIP member of Who's Who for Excellence in Physical Rehabilitation recognition. She has also been the recipient of the Gail A. Hills Alumni Award of Excellence in recognition of her scholarship in occupational therapy and the Barry University Sister Jeanne O’Laughlin Faculty Scholar’s Award.
