Biography

Paula Dias is responsible for coordinating various aspects of university wide mission programming, such as Founders’ Week and Peace Month. She works on the OME marketing and communication strategy as well as furthering student leadership development through the De Porres Center for Ethical Leadership. She received her bachelor’s degree in philosophy and master’s degree in higher education administration from Boston College. She completed her doctorate from Northeastern University in 2017. Paula was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and grew up in Boston, MA. Paula has worked in Student Affairs including areas such as student leadership development and co-curricular engagement. Prior to moving to South Florida in 2015, Paula worked under the Division of Mission and Ministry at Boston College, managing a program targeted at increasing the engagement of low-income students in the academic, social, and spiritual life of the university. She also has experience teaching a Social Change Leadership Seminar to college freshmen.
