Biography

Ann Shepard Feeley Swaner is Associate Professor of Theology and Academic Coordinator of Theology in the School of Professional And Career Education. She joined the Barry faculty in 1992. She earned a BA degree from the University of Saint Michael’s College in the University of Toronto and a PhD in religion from the University Of Iowa School Of Religion. Her professional interests include theology of marriage, history of Christianity, and history of religion in the United States. Dr. Swaner teaches these undergraduate courses at Barry: Theology: Faith, Beliefs, and Traditions (THE 201), Comparative Religion (THE 303), Dynamics of Faith, Beliefs, and Theology (THE 306), Christology (THE 307), History of Christianity I and II (THE 334 & 335), and The American Religious Experience (THE 352).
