Biography

Ben Hitchinson is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences. He received his Undergraduate and Master’s degrees from the U.K., before completing a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the University of Illinois Chicago. After his PhD, he worked in a variety of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as a scientific researcher before joining Barry University in 2022. His teaching interests include Biochemistry, Immunology and Research, while specific research interests include cytokine biology, early target identification and cell therapy technologies.
