Biography

Dr. Green is the Medical Director for the PA Program at Barry University and an assistant professor of medical education. He is a graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida. He is board-certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine by the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has worked in pediatric emergency departments for 20 years before joining the PA Program at Barry University in 2021.  He is an affiliate member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Physician Assistant Education Association. Dr. Green is a clinical faculty member, and he also directs the emergency medicine course, participates in physical diagnosis as a lab instructor, and lectures in orthopedics in the medical pathophysiology course. He also manages PA student participation in point-of-care ultrasound simulation technology. His interests include pediatrics, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and teaching medical procedures.
