Biography

Before joining Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, Professor Eang Ngov practiced domestically and internationally. She served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Washington and a Civilian Attorney to the Department of the Army JAG Corps in Germany. The U.S. Department of the Army awarded her the Commander's Award for Civilian Service and Performance Awards for her legal service to deploying soldiers and their families during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her scholarship focuses on individual rights and Equal Protection, and her writing has appeared in American University Law Review, Loyola University Chicago Law Journal, and Tennessee Law Review. Professor Ngov has taught Constitutional Law, Federal Jurisdiction, First Amendment, Civil Procedure, and Trial Advocacy. Prior to joining the Barry faculty, she taught at Florida A&M University College of Law, where she established the Prosecution Clinic.
