Biography
Dr. Ali is an assistant professor of Clinical Biology in the Clinical Biology programs. He is a medical doctor by training with a specialization in medical microbiology and also possesses a master’s degree in Clinical Biology with a specialization in Laboratory Management. Dr. Ali is a diplomate of both the American Board of Medical Microbiology [D(ABMM)] in the United States and the Royal College of Pathologists (DipRCPath) in the United Kingdom. Dr. Ali also holds Medical Laboratory Scientist Board Certification with the with the American Society of Clinical Pathology [MLS(ASCP)CM]. He has over 10 years of medical and clinical laboratory experience working in various hospital systems in multiple countries and began his career at Barry University as an adjunct professor in the fall of 2022. In addition to teaching, Dr. Ali is also actively engaged in scientific research, his areas of interest are laboratory sciences, microbiology, infectious diseases and vector borne diseases. Dr. Ali enjoys teaching and is committed to helping his students achieve their goals.
