Biography
Jacob Ausderan, Ph.D., joined the faculty at Barry University in Fall 2018. He received his Ph.D and Master’s degrees from Florida State University and his Bachelor’s degree with majors in political science and English from The Ohio State University. He teaches courses on International Relations, Research Methods, Comparative Politics, and American Government. His research interests include international conflict, foreign policy, and human rights, with a regional interest in East Asia. Dr. Ausderan has published his research in the Journal of Peace Research, Conflict Management and Peace Science, International Interactions, and PS: Political Science & Politics. In addition to his contributions to edited volumes, he is currently completing a book on international conflict and the strategic selection of foreign policy advisors. Dr. Ausderan is the advisor to the Model United Nations student club.
