Biography

Dr. Jeanne Antolchick's diverse background includes a five-year enlistment in the U.S. Army and experience as a registered respiratory therapist, licensed massage therapist, pediatric ICU and pediatric cardiac ICU registered nurse. Following a rewarding clinical career in both hospital and ASC settings, Jeanne joined Barry University's Anesthesiology program as full-time faculty in July 2016. Dr. Antolchick is currently completing an academic fellowship in advanced pain management at the University of South Florida with an anticipated completion date of May 2, 2019. Dr. Antolchick's research interests include options for non-opioid general anesthesia, multi-modal anesthesia and shared decision making in anesthesia. Dr. Antolchick currently serves as a Secretary/Treasurer for the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists (FANA) (2018 - 2020); and, Member, American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Education Committee (2018 - 2019). Her previous professional service includes Member, National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Pediatric Specialty Workgroup (2017 - 2018); Member, American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Nominating Committee (2017 - 2018); Director for the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists (FANA) (2016 - 2018); Chair, FANA Nominating Committee (2008 - 2009); and, Chair, FANA Communications Committee (2009 - 2010, 2011 - 2012)..
