Biography

Mary Frances Fleischaker is originally from Chicago. She has been an Adrian Dominican for 54 years. She earned a Bachelor degree in piano performance from Siena Heights University, a Masters degree in Religious Studies from Loyola University, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Catholic Theological Union. Her ministerial experience includes teaching, retreat work, and directing worship and liturgical music programs in a variety of pastoral settings including Campus Ministry at Barry University. Several of her original hymn texts have also been published. Currently, she serves as adjunct professor of theology at Barry University and taught in the Lay Ministry program of the Archdiocese of Miami for the past 3 years.
