Biography

Professor Broihahn joined the Andreas School of Business and Public Administration faculty at Barry University in 1988 after acting as Corporate Controller and Director of Financial Reporting for Computerland Corporation and then CFO of Computer Bay in Milwaukee. He earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin. Professor Broihahn is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida and Wisconsin, and holds the professional credentials of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified in Financial Management (CFM), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner, (CFP) and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS). He also holds a Graduate Gemologist Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. Professor Broihahn began his business career as a financial auditor with Price Waterhouse in Milwaukee. After a year of doctoral study at the University of California, Berkeley, he joined Fox & Carskadon Financial Corporation as a portfolio controller.
