On her spare time, she has taken African American and Women’s courses hosted by University of Miami and other educational organizations. She is also very involved in her community, working with several non-profits in the Miami area that advocate for the rights of marginalized communities through activities, art, fundraising, and group study. She is a strong believer that everyone should have the equal opportunity for education, housing, and health.
Biography
Dr. Natalie Foucauld, DMSc, MCMSc, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant and alumni of the Barry University Physician Assistant program. She studied Food and Nutrition Sciences at Florida State University and focused on decreasing barriers that the elderly population may face when learning about food and diet. Upon completing her master’s degree at Barry University, Dr. Foucauld worked in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. Eventually, Dr. Foucauld completed a doctorate program in medical sciences at Lynchburg University. Through the coursework, she was able to refine her literature and writing skills, as well as learn about various kind of healthcare systems, including here in the U.S. and on a global scale.
