
Biography
Professor Levy has been a practicing physician assistant since 2003, with a specialization in Correctional Medicine. She is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) scholar and holds licensure in the state of Florida, maintaining certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). An active member of several professional organizations, Professor Levy is involved with the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA), the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA).
Since 2014, Professor Levy has served as an assistant professor of medical education in the Physician Assistant program. She earned both a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant and a Master of Medical Science from Nova Southeastern University and was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants in 2017. Her professional interests include the prevention of burnout in healthcare and teaching physical diagnosis to students.
In addition to her academic and clinical work, Professor Levy is passionate about volunteerism, particularly with Hope Worldwide, where she dedicates her time to community service initiatives.
