Biography
Ruth Ban is an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She holds a PhD in Second Language Acquisition and Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida and a MA in TESOL from University of London, UK. She has taught courses in the Teaching of English for Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in the United States and Mexico for the last decade. Her research interests include English language learning, teacher identity, applications of technology to teaching English Language Learners and the teaching and learning of Qualitative Research.
