Biography

Sade Reid joined Barry University as Assistant Professor and School Counseling Coordinator in 2019. She holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Social Science from the University of South Florida. She also has an M.Ed. in School Counseling from Howard University and Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Board Certified Telemental Health Provider. Her professional interests include clinical training and supervision, play therapy, and school counselors fostering educational equality, supporting first-generation college students, and college readiness.
