Biography

Sherri DeWitt received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and then teaching there, she received her JD from Cornell Law School. Sherri then moved to Central Florida to practice law owning and managing DeWitt Law Firm for over 25 years, representing clients throughout Florida.

During her years in practice, she presented and argued a case to the Florida Supreme Court where she changed Florida law and helped formulate arguments presented to the United States Supreme Court. She also hosted a weekly radio show "The DeWitt Law Review" from 2011 to 2019, informing listeners of new developments within the law. Sherri has been active in many Professional Legal Associations, written numerous articles, published a book, and raised a family. After many years in the courtroom she returned to her love of teaching law.
