Biography

I decided on a STEM major at Barry because during my visit at the campus, I was impressed with what they had to offer and the environment of the school. My passion for computers started in 10th grade after a teacher introduced me to several technology-related topics. While I have always been interested in STEM (especially IT), it was that teacher who helped fuel this passion. It is always fascinating to see how useful STEM majors and the advances they make possible are, especially in these days when we are suffering from a global pandemic. The most exciting STEM-related topic I have learned so far is computational thinking. It helps me think in ways that I usually don't, outside of the box. In ten years, I see myself working as a cybersecurity specialist; working to protect virtual assets.
