XITRACS

WHAT IS XITRACS™?

Xitracs™ is the software platform selected by Barry University to manage all aspects of our ongoing accreditation and compliance process. The tool will be used to produce the final self-study report for submission to SACS and will help track overall progress towards reaccreditation.

Leaders throughout the University will have access to Xitracs in order to run reports, share documents and to see the progression of the certification process.

WHAT ARE THE MODULES OF XITRACS™?

We have licensed the Standards, Credentials, and Planning modules in order to track our progress.

Standards Module: This module brings people together to collaborate on the self-study. Because the system uses the latest Web 2.0 technology users can work using an internet connection and browser—simply and securely, wherever they are. At any point during the preparation phase our leaders can generate a preview of a submission to see how it looks.

Credentials Module: This module allows us to capture, store and report faculty information including qualifications and courses taught by semester plus supporting documents such as transcripts, certificates and licenses. This gives the University a single place to store and manage faculty credentials.

Planning Module: This module allows us to connect plans and budgets and get a snapshot of progress across the institution. A timeline feature lets us select a planning cycle by plan, so annual operational plans can link to five-year strategic plans. A Survey feature lets us create questions that you can email to stakeholders such as faculty members. Survey responses can be linked to specific plans and plan sections, making it much easier to gather the data we need.
