In November, more than 400 students and employee volunteers formed a human assembly line inside the Barry University Health & Sports Center as they raced to prepare 40,000 meal packs bound for Haiti and local Miami communities in an event cohosted by Cross Catholic Outreach. The whole event was expected to take about four hours to complete. Instead, in just two hours and seven minutes, they surpassed their goal by producing more than 43,000 meals.
