Working toward justice can feel rewarding and hopeful, but it can also be emotionally and mentally exhausting combating systems with deep roots of discrimination. Important anti-racism and equity work cannot be done when people are too drained from taking on the constant weight that is racism in our country.
The Anti-Racism and Equity Coalition highlights Online Counseling Programs’ resource webpage on How to Protect Your Mental Health While Fighting Racial Injustice to make your justice journey a sustainable one. This page houses strategies, websites, organizations, videos, podcasts, toolkits, and other resources that help promote mental health as one advocate for justice.
