The 34th Annual Agnes Seminar will be hosted by Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and the Florida Podiatric Medical Student Association Class of 2027.

Eight (8) Continuing Education Contact Hours will be offered including the Florida Required License Renewal Courses for the 2026 biennium.

Gain insights into surgical techniques for managing midportion and insertional Achilles tendinopathy
  • Evaluate Surgical Indications and Procedure Selection
  • Pathophysiology and biomechanics of midportion and insertional Achilles tendinopathy
  • Identify the most common medical and surgical errors 
  • Recognize the importance of communication to prevent errors 
  • Recognize the importance of reporting responsibilities and notifications 
  • Identify podiatric liabilities, risk management techniques and strategies 
  • Participate and assist counsel during litigation Florida 
  • Learn the latest advanced techniques in vascular surgery
  • Analyze common medication errors in podiatric practice, with emphasis on implement specific safety checkpoints in daily clinical workflow
  • Evaluate systematic approaches to prevent surgical site marking errors through standardized timeout procedures and site verification protocols, incorporating specific examples from podiatric surgery

  • Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. Barry University has approved the 34th Annual Agnes Seminar for a maximum of 8 continuing education contact hours.

  • Approximately two weeks following the seminar, you will receive a certificate of attendance via e-mail. 

  • Refunds less a $75 processing fee will be given when written notification is received by February 28, 2025. No refunds will be given for no-shows. BUSPM reserves the right to cancel the seminar up to two weeks prior to the start date of the seminar. BUSPM will make every effort to inform the participants as soon as possible in the event of cancellation. At no time will BUSPM be responsible for any other cost that may have been incurred by the registrant.
